Tee Pee Campground has been a four star Good Sam Park for over twenty years.  We take pride in offering a relaxed, friendly, clean park for our visitors, whether they are returnees or new families. You will not get lost in our park, your kids can roam on bikes or trikes and be safe and we do not hand you a long list of rules you are required to follow.  We ask that you observe quiet hours after 10:00 p.m. and be considerate of your fellow campers.  Pets are welcome if you will clean up after your pet and not leave them unattended.  Pets are welcomed on the island and the ferries.  If you wish a dinner or shopping or a day on the island, pet sitting service is available for a small fee.

Swimming, stone skipping, sun bathing and sand play are beach activities for young and old.  So are ferry and freighter viewing, sea gull and eagle watching.   Our camp party store is stocked with snacks, soda, beer & wine, ice cream, basic groceries, ice, firewood, and camping supplies.

We also have a very informative tourist information area located at the office. We can answer any of your tourism questions, and have hundreds of brochures on what’s what and where in Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, and our surrounding area.

Our newly remodeled bathrooms/shower facilities are amenities that we have taken great pride in over the years.  We receive many compliments. Clean, clean, clean!   And they are heated for your comfort during those chilly times of year.

Every night, weather permitting, for the past 40 years we have  a bonfire on the beach at dusk for all of the campers to come and enjoy. There are many benches, and swings for you to sit on, so enjoy the fire, take in the awesome view of the Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island, and share a few stories. Also beware of Bon Fire Bob....we're not sure if all of his stories are really true. However they are entertaining.

WE RECYCLE!!!! Behind the office/camp store you will find our recycling center. Please recycle plastic, tin and aluminum cans, all cardboard, newspaper, and glass. We work hard to keep our park clean. Please do your part too.

The beach area is just a short stroll away from all camp;sites, and our whole beach area (400 ft) is for everyone to enjoy. We also have a large grassy, picnic area located at the beach available for anyone to use, equipped with BBQ grills and picnic tables.  Ocassionally we have a beach wedding!

You will love the look and feel of this first class, friendly campground.  We get a lot of compliments on the cleanliness and grounds-keeping in which we take so much pride.  Please camp with us on your trip to Mackinaw.
