I have camped at Tee Pee Campground for nearly 40 years. Starting out as a child with my parents, and now, with my own family. The warm and freindly atmosphere is only the start of your stay! It is close to downtown Mackinac City, yet far enough from the city atmosphere to feel that you can get away from it all. The campground is CLEAN and quiet, yet allows you to have a good time with both family and friends! Gene and Jo and family are host's that make you feel that it's all about you and your family's enjoyment. The campgournd is located right next to Lake Huron, and the view from the beach of both the Bridge and the Island are PICTURE PERFECT! Saturday night's bonfire on the beach is well worth it! We will be back for many years to come! 

 Our famiy had a wonderful camping experience on our first trip to TeePee campground. The grounds and bathrooms were extremely clean! Loved being by the water...such a relaxing vacation!! Even our dog got special attention from the staff and other campers. The staff is very welcoming and extremely friendly. Can't wait to go back !! Thank you for making our summer vacation a very memorable one!!  

 We just spent the last 4 days at Tee Pee and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We requested a spot where the boys would be able to enjoy themselves and the host and hostess didn't let us down. The friendliest people I have met in a long time. We are looking forward to spending time there next year with our folks who are coming in from New Mexico. All of the attractions are just minutes away and the view is spectacular. Thanks guys for making our very first camp out a very enjoyable one. Keep up the good work.  We stayed at TeePee Campground in Mackinaw for our first time July 18 - July 20. We had met the neatest staff and had the best camp site known to man kind. The play area was wonderful and the view, well, it was just breath taking. The showers and restrooms would make Mr. Clean smile. I would stay there again over and over again. Thank you so much for making the memories outstanding!! 

 We were so impressed with the campground that we are looking forward to making it a yearly event! We had a great view of the bridge and super friendly and helpful staff! We were very very very happy by choosing Teepee campground for our first family vacation!!!!  

 We just stayed 7 nights and loved it everyone was so nice the bathrooms were very clean and HOT showers we will be back soon thanks for the wonderful time. 

  We had a great time camping at Tee Pee last summer. The location was perfect for going into town or traveling South. If the weather had cooperated the view from our site of the bridge and the island would have been breath taking. The bathrooms were very clean and well kept. The owners were friendly and helpful. Campground was Quiet and clean. We would camp here again if the opportunity presented itself. The only problem I saw were due to the flat camp sites between the bathrooms and the office, we had heavy rains when we were there and after the storm these sites were FLOODED. we were down by the beach and didn't have any flooding problems.  

 My family has camped there for the last 4 years and we've enjoyed every stay. Very friendly folks running the place. Very well maintained. A very positive experience and looking forward to coming back up in 2011. I highly recommend staying here. 

 My friend Carol and I just stayed at site 20 last week, tenting. All we can say is man, what a view of the bridge and thank you so much for heated, clean bathrooms/showers! The owners are so pleasant and we really enjoyed ourselves there. We'll definately be back next year! 

 I spent my first two nights ever at Tee Pee with some friends from my class from college earlier this week. We were lucky enough to have the best camp site with a perfect unobstructed view of the lake and bridge. It's a pretty small campground which makes those walks to the bathrooms and front store very easy. The size also keeps the beach pretty open. The owner was nice enough to let us into the shop after he had closed up when we realized we had everything to roast hot dogs, except the actual dogs. The bathroom floor tiles were better then my own houses, and the bathrooms in general were very clean. I enjoyed the trip and wished I hadn't had to come home. 

 WOW!! Hats off to the Tee Pee campground. We have been camping there for a quite a few years, what a great place. The great times we had there with our children were so memorable, now as adults they also like to camp there. The Cooley family are very friendly and helpful. We really like the clean bathroom's and camp site's, you will always see them several times a day keeping everything clean and running smoothly. the view is the best you will find anyplace. we can't wait to go back.

 I've camped at TeePee since I was 8 years old with my mom and dad. Now I bring my hubby and 10 and 7 year olds here (we'll be arriving next weekend)! It was my favorite place on earth when I was a kid, and it still is today! The family atmosphere, the view of the bridge, and the bonfires on the beach cannot be beat! You are just a short drive, walk or bike ride to many great Mackinaw City adventures. It would be my dream to carry on the TeePee Ground tradition for the hundreds of families that visit here each season should Gene and his family every wish to 'retire'!  

  We have been camping at Tee Pee for many years. Gene and his family go out the way for eveyone. very clean restrooms, great view, and we saw the best northern lights there. you wont be disappointed. 

 My family & I stayed at the Teepee campground this year over the 4th of July weekend. We absoulately loved this campground. It was our first stay here but definately will NOT be our last. Everyone from the camp staff to the other campers were very very friendly & everyone respected the quiet times. For it being such a busy holiday weekend I excepted at least some chaos but was very pleased that there was none. Our camp site was down by the beach & had the most beautiful view of the bridge, island & lighthouses. Its only been a week since we left & we are itching to go back. We will definatley see you all again soon. Thanks so much for showing us such great hospitality. Keep up the great work you all do. Happy camping until next trip. 

 Started stayinng there when the other campground closed and are very pleased . Will be there as often as we can. Evevrything iis nearby and handy. The Grandkids and most of all the Wife loves it. Thanks for a great place. 

 I am 11 years old. Last year my aunt and uncle took me, my sister, and my cousins to Teepee Campground and we loved it. This year we will be returning for more fun. We have come to Mackinaw City many times and stayed in hotels and I am glad that we stayed here. We have a lot of ancesters on Mackinac Island and love it here. When I grow up I will definitly come here a lot. Thank you and I can't wait till I come again. 

 Our family has been coming to TeePee for 30+ years now. This year we will have 3 generations of family with us. TeePee is our #1 choice of campgrounds ever. We are treated like family while camping here. You will not regret camping at TeePee Campgrounds. T 

 Our family has camped at TeePee for about 20 years. We are planning on coming again this year. We have grown attached to the campground and to Gene and Jo who run it. They are most accomodating and helpful as are thier sons who help out there. It is so relaxing and beautiful there. Often times at night we will walk or bicycle the short distance into town. Mackinaw City is a fun place to shop and enjoy ice cream. We take our kayaks and launch from the TeePee beach or take them into town and launch under the Mackinaw Bridge. We often see people who come year after year because it is such a pleasant campground. You can enjoy the lit up bridge after dark from the TeePee beach. 

  My family and friends have been staying at Tee Pee for the last 25 years for Memorial Weekend, the owners have made us feel like family and have treated us very well. The campground is close to town, and easy access for us to ride bikes. The campground is quiet and friendly. We Love Tee Pee Bambi Stewart

 " My wife and I have been camping and assisting the family at the Tee Pee Camp gound the past few years and not only are they a loving family, the people in Macinaw City are great to visit with. We can't wait get back to see the gourgeous veiw of the sights from the beach and to listen to the stories of the lost ship wrecks.
